Some days our souls are just plain weary. The dog escapes the backyard, one kid forgets his homework while another decides to fill the toilet with a roll of toilet paper. The car won't start, and you don't have what you need to make dinner before everyone gets home. On top of it all, you haven't had a second to sit and pray and just enter into His rest. It happens to us all at some point.
When our soul grows weary, He revives us. When our soul is buried in sin, He purifies us. His love leads us to restoration. He promises rest for us if we will abide in Him. The same One who rescued us from our sin, promises to restore every aspect of our lives.
Merriam-Webster defines restore as to give back (something that was lost or taken; to bring back into existence or use; to return something to an original condition by repairing it, or cleaning it. Wow! His promise to make us new, and in being made new, our souls are restored.

Oh friend, He will restore you. He CAN make all things new. We all go through times where we are just worn down and have nothing left to give. Let His love wash over you now. What is broken in your life? What is lost or has been taken from you? I will pray for restoration for you.
Father, we love You. You are so faithful. You are true to Your word, and we put our trust in You. You see all of our brokenness, all of our hurts, all of our losses and failures. You know every single part of our being and nothing can be hidden from you. We lay all of these things at Your feet. Thank you for restoration, for restoring our souls back to You. We love you, Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Oh Amen, my friend! So thankful for His continual work of restoration! Resting with you! xoxo
