Sometimes mountains look like a doctor report. Sometimes they look like bills piling high. Sometimes they are just impossible situations that seem impassible. Jesus told us in Matthew 17:20 that mountains don't have to stop us. In fact, He told us to move mountains by faith.
God formed the entire universe by His word. He created everything by His word. How important is it for us to remember, as His creation, that we create by speaking also? You shall have whatsoever you say, speak to the mountain, life and death are in the power of the tongue. These are just a few examples of God's reminders that we create when we speak.
Choose to speak life. Speak love. Speak peace. Speak hope. Speak kindness. Speak faith. His promise to us is this - things will change, mountains will move when we speak. We are our Creators children, so wouldn't it make sense that we would create with our words as He does?
The created one, needs communion with it's Creator. We are His creation, and when we fail to commune with our Creator, our creativity dries up. It fails to produce. On the other hand, when we spend time with the One who longs for our hearts, His creativity pours through us and we ooze grace and faith in our words.
Friend, if you are facing mountains today, let me encourage you in this - God has given you power in your words. He invites us to take Him at His word and speak to our mountains and watch them move. Will you speak to your mountain today?
